Delhi Government is going to build a school equipped with world class facilities in Dwarka Sector-19 of Matiala Assembly. Chief Minister Atishi laid the foundation stone of this school, which will be completed in about a year, on Friday. Apart from 104 rooms, children will get the facilities of modern lab, library, lift, amphitheater, basketball court, badminton court in this school. On this occasion, Chief Minister Atishi said that it will become a world class education hub for the children of Dwarka and surrounding areas.
Chief Minister Atishi said that the people of Delhi should choose the right people for the future of their children. Atishi also unveiled the name plaque of Government Senior Secondary School after laying the foundation stone of the school. He said that the way this school will be built, it will leave even the renowned private schools behind. The school building will have 104 rooms, six state-of-the-art labs, library, activity rooms, two lifts as well as an amphitheater with a capacity of 750 people. He said that with the construction of this school, 2500 children of Ambrai village, Qutub Vihar, Sarita Vihar, Pochanpur village, Bhagat Singh Enclave and many surrounding areas will get excellent education.
He said that till the year 2015, the condition of government schools was bad. Forget about modern facilities, there was lack of even basic resources. The Chief Minister said that from independence till 2015, the governments had built only 24,000 rooms in the government schools of Delhi and in just 10 years from 2015 till now, we have built more than 22,000 new rooms and luxurious rooms in the schools. During this, he also mentioned about the better results of class 12th in the last seven years.
